Belgium - The Vinyl Frontier

In 2014 Red Bull Elektropedia and Red Bull Music teamed up with Democrazy for Record Store Day. On April 19, they released a limited edition book Belgium – The Vinyl Frontier in eighteen record stores across the country – free to pick up for music lovers who bought €70 to €100 worth of black gold. The book was sold out in 2 hours.

The 132-page hard cover book features a look inside the homes of some of Belgium’s most insufferable vinyl diggers: Lefto, Lorin Deforce (Music Mania), Raphael Christophe (Raphael Top-Secret), Stefaan Vandenberghe (Dr. Lektroluv, T-Quest), Lars Cosemans (Coffee & Vinyl), Bart Van Neste (Red D, FCL) & Thierry Steuve (Thierry SteadyGo).

Pictures were taken by the renowned Belgian photographer Thomas Sweertvaegher (aka Switn), with interviews conducted by Koen Galle and a foreword by Ben Van Alboom.
